My name is Shelby Bigler. I was born and raised in Fort Myers, Florida. Yes, I am a true Floridian. I moved to Pine Island a little over 10 years ago, residing now in Saint James City. My husband, Corey was born and raised on Pine Island, in Bokeelia. We have three amazing children, who we are blessed to get to raise and watch grow up in such a special place. I knew from the moment I first stepped foot on Pine Island, I felt I was home. I was exactly where I was meant to be. Pine Island is that best kept secret, a place untouched, magical almost, the perfect place to sit back, relax, and call home. I know I am very proud to call Pine Island home.
A little about my past and what led me into going into real estate. I attended high school in Fort Myers, at Cypress Lake High school. I graduated in 2001 and earned my diploma. Headed off to college on a volleyball scholarship. I played for 4 years and earned a bachelors degree from Lynn University in 2005. While at Lynn, I served as captain of my team and learned the true meaning of teamwork and many skills that would help lead me to be successful and communicate in the real estate and business relationships.
After graduating college and prior to my real estate career, I was in the retail industry, managing, working and finding my way through Corporate America. My experience gained while in that industry gave me a stable foundation in customer service, and an eager and knowledgeable power to provide for my clients and others alike. Being hard working, passionate, punctual, and organized have always been some of my strong suits and I like to use them in the my professional relationships as well as everyday life.
I began my real estate career back in 2018, where I began working as a sales associate under Beverly Rufino, and her real estate brokerage, Canal Real Estate, LLC in Saint James City, FL. I learned a lot from her and she was a great mentor, where I picked up great advice and how to grow my business on Pine Island. I decided that I wanted to continue and further my career in real estate and made the decision to get my broker’s license and open up my own brokerage. Premier Island Realty is now a reality and I am the qualifying broker and owner.As a professional business woman, my ultimate goal is to help both sellers and buyers alike find the best marketing tools and to be able to sell at the most competitive prices on the market, respectively. I will be with my clients 100% of the way and see each transaction all the way through until the end. I want to make sure that every client, respective family members, and fellow agents alike that work with me receive my best and extreme satisfation all the way.
